Sandra Nivans Obituary
Graveside funeral services for Sandra Sue Easterling Nivans, age 71 of Columbia, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Ogden Cemetery at Liddieville, LA under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the cemetery.
Sandra was born on June 27, 1951, at Winnsboro, LA to the union of Thomas Prichard Easterling and Mamie Lea Dampier Easterling and she passed from this life on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Sandra Sue was no stranger to hard work as she spent her career as a construction worker. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Gail Tarver.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bill Nivans of Columbia; her son, William Nivans (Elizabeth) of Farmerville, LA; a nephew, Shane Easterling and a niece, Lacy Easterling, both of Winnsboro, LA; two sisters, Francine Smith and husband, Ted of Monroe and Tommie Waskom of Baton Rouge, LA.
