Sandra Sue Parker

Sandra Parker, age 84, of White Bear Lake and formerly of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and family. Born on December 26, 1941, in Jackson, MS, to the late John and Audrey Campbell, Sandra grew up with a spirit of service and a passion for life.

Sandra attended Southeastern Louisiana College and went on to lead a multifaceted career. She served as a secretary for 3M and worked in real estate, but her most cherished role was that of "Super Homemaker." She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother who was the heartbeat of her family. Whether she was transporting her children to year-round sports or cheering the loudest from the sidelines, her dedication was unwavering.

She was the ultimate partner to her husband, Herb, assisting him in all his business ventures and remaining his best friend throughout their life together.

A woman of many talents, Sandra was a master of Southern cuisine, famous for her desserts, delicacies, and her "world-famous" homemade pizzas. Her family will forever cherish the memory of her signature "crazy cake" and her legendary rhubarb crunch-treats that were always the highlight of any gathering. Her hands were rarely still; she was a skilled seamstress who made custom clothing and a gardener who grew beautiful flowers and vegetables.

Sandra found joy in the simple pleasures of life: fishing for bass, camping, shelling on the beach, and attending the Ft. Myers Art Fest down in Florida. On Saturdays in the fall, you could find her enthusiastically cheering for Alabama Football. She enjoyed attending church with her family, a cornerstone of her faith and life.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, John and Audrey Campbell, and her sister, Mary Jane Reid.

She is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Herb; her children, Janie Casas (Rafael), John Parker (Mersini), and Jenni Barker (Scott). She was the proud grandmother of Stephanie (Brian), Mary Ann, Emily, Abigail, Ben, Nathan, and Lydia, and the great-grandmother of Charlie and Nora.

Her warmth, her "Super Homemaker" spirit, and her deep love for her family will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
