Sandra Carol Parrott

Sandra Carol Parrott, 80, of Amarillo, TX passed away on October 31, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 P.M., Monday, November 8, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Sandra was born on June 2, 1941, in Amarillo, TX to Marie and C. G. Wheeler.

Sandra was a kind soul loved by many. She had two children, Merle and Keith Grundy. Those who knew her hold her fondly in their hearts and memories. She enjoyed watching tv in her chair, cooking for her family, and telling amazing stories.

Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Merle Grundy, her husband, Glen (Pappy) Parrott; parents, C.G. Wheeler and Marie Chisum, all of Amarillo; her great-grandson, Christopher Warden, and her great-granddaughter, Danica Bowles.

She is survived by brothers, Garry Wheeler and wife Bonnie of Maine; Charlie Wheeler and wife Cheryl of Amarillo; son, Keith Grundy of Lubbock; granddaughter, Kathy Dwight; and great-grandchildren, Savannah Dwight, Deshawn and Breonna Baker, Adam Jella, and McKenzie and Ariel Bowles; and a niece, nephews, and many cousins. There are many other names that could be listed, many people left on earth love and will miss her dearly. Though we will mourn, we will also celebrate her return home with the angels. She earned her wings.
