Sandra Jean Pause

Sandra Jean (King) Pause, 68 of North Adams, MA died on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at her home. She was born in Adams, MA on February 8, 1955, a daughter of the late Edward Franklin King and Phyllis Maria (Fumento) King. She attended Adams schools and graduated from Hoosac Valley Regional High School. Sandra graduated from North Adams State College. She completed the LPN program at McCann Technical High School and earned her nursing degree from Southern Vermont College. Sandra was last employed as the school nurse for the schools in the Northern Berkshire School Union. Before that, she worked at North Adams Regional Hospital and Sweetbrook Nursing Home and as a hospice nurse with VNACompCare. She was a communicant of St. John Paul II Parish in Adams. Sandra enjoyed crafting, learning Spanish, also loved music and singing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, David Allen Pause, whom she married on April 8, 1984 and two sons, Kane Robert of Adams and Ryan Pause of North Adams; one daughter, Jessica Charron of Adams; and a stepdaughter, Erica Pause of Raynham, MA. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Rosalynne, Lex, Elizabeth, Destiny, Patience, Gabriel, Ella, and Emelia and two great grandchildren, Claire and Waylen; two brothers, Edward King of West Roxbury, MA and Ronald King of Adams and nieces and nephews. She leaves her uncle Rocco Fumento. Also her Mother in law Joan Pause, Her brother, Robert King is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Sandra Pause will be Wednesday January 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday morning from 9-11 AM.
