Sandra A. Pease

Sandra A. Pease, 76, of Superior, died Thursday February 12, 2026, at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Sandra was born in Rockford, IL on October 24, 1949, the daughter of Lavern and Margaret (Bennett) Nelson.

She earned a degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin Superior and worked as a civil engineer for Wisconsin Department of Transportation, retiring after 25 years.

She was a very active member of Cathedral of Christ the King Church. She served as secretary for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and was also involved with many community groups for the town of Oakland

Sandra enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, especially hiking and walking, and she loved her animals. Most important to her was her family and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; life partner, Jack Pease; and siblings, Greg Nelson, Ted Nelson, and Teri Snow.

Sandra is survived by her children, Brian (Jody) Pease, Katrina (Bruce) Brown, and Tessa (Anthony) Ramsey; grandchildren, Chad Collins, Bryan Collins, Taylor Pease, Madison (Trevor) Dexter, Margaret (Bobby) Larson, Bruce Brown and Aria, Kiera, and Frederick Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Laney, Cooper, Nora and two on the way; brother, Larry (Carol) Nelson and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday February 21st from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King Church, 1111 Belknap St. with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
