Sandra "KAYE" Perkins, born on May 8, 1959, departed this world on May 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts she touched. A devoted mother and cherished grandmother, Sandra was a radiant presence in the lives of her family, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Those who knew Sandra understood that her love was abundant and unconditional. She was the kind of woman who would literally give you the shirt off her back, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her nurturing spirit was evident in every interaction, as she approached life with a loving heart and an open mind. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her grandchildren, whose laughter filled her home and whose lives she eagerly followed with pride.
A woman of great style, Sandra took joy in dressing impeccably, ensuring she always brought a bit of sunshine into every room she entered. Her fashionable flair was matched only by her vibrant personality – a rare combination that drew people to her and made her beloved by all. Sandra’s hobbies reflected her lively spirit; she found great joy in playing cards and indulging in the excitement of Bingo. The warmth of her Bingo family was a cherished part of her life, bringing her companionship and joy in abundance.
In addition to her playful nature, Sandra was known for her unrelenting dedication to maintaining a clean and organized home. There was something soothing about the way she turned her living space into a welcoming haven, a reflection of her caring personality. Her home was often a gathering place, and each moment spent there was infused with laughter and connection, memories that will be held close by all who visited.
To celebrate Sandra's life and legacy, a Viewing will be held on June 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:15 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The Funeral Service, honoring her remarkable journey, will take place the following day, June 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM, concluding at 2:00 PM at the same location.
As we bid farewell to this loving and caring soul, let us remember the joy she brought to our lives, her countless acts of kindness, and the way she made each person feel special. Sandra Perkins was more than just a loving mother and grandmother; she was a beacon of light in a world that so desperately needed her warmth. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved.
