Sandra J. "Sandy" Perry, 71, of Adams, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, at Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandy was born on October 16, 1954, in Watertown, New York, the daughter of Herbert A. and Margaret A. (Roberts) BushawJr. She graduated from Indian River High School in 1972.

She married Daniel Perry in March 2003, and the couple spent several happy years together. They made their home in Bradenton, Florida, before returning to New York following Daniel's passing.

Sandy is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Jess) St. Croix and Stephanie (Edward) Smith, all of Adams Center; her grandchildren Jessica (Mason) Dougherty, Owen (Jessie) Collins, Lucas (Gracie) Smith, Brooke (Jaden) Bachelor, Zander Monaghan, Carleigh Johnston, Garrett Simpson, Eddie Molnar, and Emory Molnar; and four great-grandchildren, Travis, Robin, Hudson, and Presley. She was also blessed with a bonus daughter, Karen (Alan) Crews of Ellenwood, Georgia, who lovingly referred to her as "Mama S." She never missed a holiday or birthday.

She is also survived by four siblings: Randy (Becky) Bushaw of Antwerp; Sherry (Bill) Makuch of Calcium; Brian (Cindy) Bushaw of Watertown; and Cindy (Ken) Fader of South Lyon, MI, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her husband, Dan Perry; her son-in-law, Travis Johnston; and her grandson, Travis Johnston II.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey Street, Watertown, NY.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Walker Center for Cancer Care staff, Dr. Z, Dr. Simpson, and all of the 5 Pratt staff at Samaritan, as well as Maggie Smith of Palliative Care and Hospice of Jefferson County, for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to quality care.
