Sandra Phy Obituary
She was the beloved wife of James J. Phy.
Born May 6, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Russell D. and Grace M. (Frankenfield) Quinn.
Sandy was one of the first three paramedics to join the VMSC of Lansdale, where she was involved since the early 1970's. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, lodge 14 as well as at the state lodge, and the Upper Gwynedd Lions Club. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. During the summer, Sandy took pleasure in spending time at the shore in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.
She held a special place in her heart for her beloved canine companion, Navi.
In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by her two brothers, David R. Quinn, and wife Penny, and Howard Quinn, and wife Cheryl.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Bob Quinn.
The family will receive visitors Monday, December 22, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to VMSC Emergency Medical Services of Lansdale.
Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

Sandy was such a wonderful person. We met through the FOP. She was always there whenever I needed a listening ear. I will truly miss her sweet caring way. Until we meet again my dear friend.

Just seeing her sweet face when entering the nurses office with any children, her sweet calm smile was just what the children needed. She was such a blessing and will be missed but remembered so fondly... A Gwynedd Square friend.

Jim,
So shocked by the news and sorry for your loss!
I remember years ago, when my also departed friend of long ago Harold, we were sitting having coffee at the old building, laughing when Sandy told us that all Jim talks about, is getting a job as a policeman.

Our daughter Paige enjoyed Mrs.Phy´s kindness and care at school this year. Being a new diabetic was scary but Sandy always made her feel safe and comfortable. We are all very sad to say goodbye. Thank you- The Dooling family
