Sandra H. Purcell

Sandra Hewgley Purcell, 59, of Pegram, passed away on January 27, 2023. She was born in Nashville, on December 30, 1963, to the late Kenneth and Nellie Malone Hewgley. Sandra worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for over 30 years. She was the life of the party. She had a contagious laugh and was often found photobombing pictures. Her vibrant personality made her fun to be around. Sandra was full of love and fun. She was the best Mimi.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Ethan Toombs and Carlee Purcell; grandchildren, Charles Goddard, Destiny Mitchell, Nevaeh Sanders, Mallory Toombs, Landon Toombs, and Corbyn Moore; siblings, Wanda (Elgin) Roger, Jim Hewgley, Sharon (Ken) Andrews; friends, Gene Purcell and Theron Moore; and a host of relatives.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00PM in the Chapel.
