Sandra Kay Rinker

The world became a brighter place on March 3, 1944, when Sandra Kay Passwater was born to Rev. Mark & Doris Passwater at Noblesville Riverview Hospital. Sandra went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy.
She was an absolutely amazing mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Sandra treasured her time spent with her family. Sandra thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts. Her pleasant personality and smile were contagious to everyone who knew and loved her.
Sandra graduated with honors in 1962 from Great Commission School in Anderson, Indiana where she served as Salutatorian. She was also on the Cheerleading squad.
She retired from Kittles Furniture Store after 28 years of employment. She worked 25 years at the Anderson location as the office manager. She won several employee of the month awards and also employee of the year. She also held many positions at the Church of Jesus Christ, and was a member of the Present Truth Bible College.
She is survived by her daughter, Angie Rinker Batie; son-in-law, Rick Batie; granddaughter Brianna Graham. Also, surviving is her sister, Glenda Passwater Riley; nieces, Lora Riley (Reggie Tanksley) and Lisa Calland (Michael Calland); great-nephews, Mark & Logan Calland, and great-great niece Vivi Calland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Mark Passwater; her grandparents, several uncles, aunts, and cousins and the love of her life for 32 years, Frank Phillips
