Sandra M. Russo

Mrs. Sandra M. (Merola) Russo, age 75, of Saugus, died on Wednesday, December 31st. She was the beloved wife of Gene Russo with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Medford, Mrs. Russo was the daughter of Anna (Junger) Merola of Medford and the late Robert J. Merola. She had been a resident of Saugus for 46 years. Sandra deeply loved her family above all else and her seven grandchildren were her world (Grace, Kallan, Liam, Ava, Micah, Lucy, and Audrey).
In addition to her husband and mother, Sandra is survived by her four children, Robert Russo of Saugus, Anthony Russo and his wife Melissa of N. Attleboro, Raina Finn and her husband Colin of RI and Joseph Russo of Saugus; seven grandchildren, Grace, Kallan, Liam, Ava, Micah, Lucy, and Audrey; two brothers, Louis Merola and William Merola both of Wilmington; and two sisters, Linda Pawlowski and Roberta Merola both of Medford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11: a.m. followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
