Sandra Sadler-Pupek

Sandra Sadler-Pupek, age 74, passed away peacefully on September 14th 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25th 1951 in Queens New York to Evelyn and Charles Sadler.Sandra grew up in South Hempstead and later she moved to Howard Beach to raise her family. Sandra had a career as a Nursing Assistant at Hempstead General Hospital. She found great joy in her work as a nursing assistant, a role that allowed her to care for others with the same love and devotion she gave to her family and friends. She was passionate about helping people, always putting the needs of others before her own. Anyone who knew her knew she was a loving and caring woman, whose kindness, support and compassion touched countless lives. Once her children were grown, Sandra left Howard Beach and moved to Catskill to be closer to some of her grandchildren and family. She was the proud mother of Tamara Dorn (Andrew),Josette Pupek, and Robert Pupek (Reishma) and cherished nana of eight. Hailey Samaritano (Paul), Ashley Pupek, Meagan Dorn, Evelyn, Jocelyn, Marissa Schirripa, Lincoln and Kingston Pupek-Kistow. Family was the center of her world, and she never missed a chance to celebrate milestones, share laughter, or offer a comforting hug. Sandra was known for her kindness, humor, and her love and dedication to her family. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, spending as much family time as she could and lots and lots of coffee. She touched the lives of many throughout her life and to say she will be missed is an understatement. She is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Sadler and her father Charles Sadler. Her family will forever remember her warmth, her laughter, and the love she shared with everyone she met. Her legacy will continue to live on through all who were so blessed to know her. Visitation will be held at Roslyn Heights Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8PM. Cremation will be private.
