Sandra "Sandy" Malone Obituary
Sandra "Sandy" Malone, age 65, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Sandy brought light and love to all who knew her. A devoted member of the Baptist faith, she embraced the values of compassion and kindness, which she imparted to her family and the community.
She is preceded in death by her father: Kenneth Boles; siblings: Kay Walters, Terry Clark, Darrell Boles, Ricky Boles.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Bruce Malone; children: Crystal (Chris) Johnson, Angela Malone, Jessica (Denver) Bartley; grandchildren: Ethan Templeton, Zoey Thornton, Haley Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Christian Johnson, Addison Thornton; great granddaughter: Brynlee Harrell; mother: Evelyn Boles; special friend: Carolyn Filyaw; siblings: Linda (Dan) Simmons, Clarence Boles; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends from 12 to 2 p.m., prior to the service.
