Larry Posey Obituary
Larry Thomas Posey, age 73, passed away January 8, 2026 at Siskins Hospice Center in Chattanooga, TN.
Larry was born on December 30, 1953. He was a volunteer firefighter at Highway 58 Station Three. Larry was a devoted member of Freedom Church of God in Ooltewah, TN.
Larry has now gone home to be with his wife, Debbie Posey; mother, Mary Posey; father, Elmer Posey; two brothers, Mickey Posey and Charles Posey; and nephew, Tommy Posey.
Survivors include his son, Travis Posey of Decatur, Tennessee; daughter, Melanie Torrence and son-in-law, Henry Torrence of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sister, Sherry Denton; two grandkids, Chloe Posey and Chris Torrence; and several nieces and nephews and other loved family and friends.
A Memorial Service honoring Larry's life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10 AM at Freedom Church of God (9843 Tennessee Highway 58 Ooltewah, TN 37363).
