James Posey Obituary
He was preceded in death by his wife, Memory Posey; parents, William and Minnie Posey; and brother, Billy Posey.
Ed is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Gene) McDaniel and Wendy (Robert) Reyes; grandchildren, Steven Duncan, Katlyn McDaniel, Kila Martin, J.C. Denton, Kaleb McDaniel, Jacob Denton, and Eli Prince; great grandchildren, Kiara Powell, Kota Moon, River Duncan, Raine Duncan, Ember Duncan, Khloe McDaniel, Korra McDaniel, Marlee Thomison, Blaze Peppers, Kenzie Denton, Kensleigh Denton, and Briar Denton; sisters, Sarah Howard, Carolyn Harden, Donna Forrest, and Lynette (Richard) Cordle; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5, at the LaFayette City Cemetery with Pastor Russell Swafford officiating.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and Jason Forrest.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

I use to work with Ed at Roper a good many years ago. We worked on main tops together for years. Edward and I really had some good times back then. He was really good friend. Prayers for the family.
