Charles Smith Obituary
Smitty was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a welder for David Teems Machine Shop until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Frazier.
Smitty is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sarah Smith; daughter, Amber (Casey) Magnusson; grandchildren, Logan Frazier, Braden Bartlett, Paisley Bartlett, and Liam Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Madie Frazier, Lexie Jackson, Lana Kean, Liam Green, and Everett Frazier; four sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 6, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Steve Moore officiating.
Interment will take place at Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Meeks, Jeff Cameron, Logan Frazier, Braden Bartlett, Grant Jackson, and Casey Magnusson.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
