Sandra Lynn Schiefer

Sandra Lynn Schiefer, age 61, of Rocheport, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital. She was born on October 17, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter to Floyd and Suzan (Myers) Licklider.
Sandy graduated from Wentzville High School (Missouri), obtained multiple college degrees and certifications, and earned her Masters of Library Science. She was most recently a librarian with the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
Sandy is survived by her husband Phil and sons Bennett and Neil (both of whom she was very proud), her mother Suzan, and her brother Steve Licklider and his wife Jean Ann, all living in Wentzville. She was preceded in death by her father Floyd H. Licklider.
She deeply loved her extended family.
Sandy had a curious mind, a generous heart, and a joyful spirit. She enjoyed surrounding herself with good people and natural wonders.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a date soon to be determined, which will be communicated to her family and friends.
Her family requests no flowers or other material items; instead, please donate to a local food bank, humane society, or charity; even better, take a friend to lunch.
