Sandra Schnell

With deep sorrow but faith in God's plan, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sandy Schnell on July 24, 2025. She was a woman of faith, love and kindness. She always put her family and others before herself.

Sandra Jean Schnell was born on November 7, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio. She lived a fulfilling life dedicated to serving God, her family and her community. She found joy in her children and grandchildren and she also had a love for animals. She felt the happiest while singing in church and hanging with her friends.

She is survived by her sister, Debbie Prickryl; daughter, Tally Hahn (partner, Shon Huff); granddaughters, Megan Hahn and Caitlyn; grandson, Jackson Huff; great-grandchildren, Nathan Inman and Myra Gould; son, Charles Schnell; and granddaughter, Amber Carnes.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, Jerry Schnell; her parents, Pete and Edgarita Harris; mother and father-in-law, Jenny and Homer Schnell; her sister-in-law, Dawn Schnell; and many others that have been waiting for her.

A Funeral Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305) on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 4pm. Family and friends may visit from 2pm until the time her service begins. Pastor Rachel Neal will officiate.
