Sandra Kay Shadowens, age 77 of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at Signature HealthCare in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock am, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Joe Bogle officiating.

Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with Mason Shadowens, Nick Moon, Phillip Biggs, Mark Biggs, Creig McLaughlin, and Larry Shadowens serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 5th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Tuesday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Mrs. Sandra was born on October 13, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Dorothy Virginia Corbitt. She was retired after 20 years as Chief Deputy Clerk of Cheatham County General Sessions Court. She loved working in her flower garden and her work at church where she was a member at Bearwallow Church of Christ.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Shadowens; brothers, Tommy Guill and Gary Guill, and sisters, Joyce Biggs and Faye McCoy.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry Shadowens; daughter-in-law, Gina Shadowens; brother, Tim (Colleen) Caldera; grandchildren, Mason Shadowens and Katie (Nick) Moon; and one great-grandson, Mitchell.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Sandra's memory to Church of Christ Disaster Relief, 470 Allied Dr., Nashville, Tennessee, 37211.
