Sandra Dee Jones Silvers

Sandra D. Jones Silvers, 66, of Clyde, NC, a beloved wife, mother, sister, nanny, and friend, went to her eternal home peacefully on September 2, 2025, surrounded by her family and on her own terms.

Sandra's life was a reflection of love, compassion, and beauty. A gentle soul, she found magic in the world around her, from birds and butterflies to blooming gardens, colorful flowers, and even the wonder of fairies. She especially loved the outdoors and treasured trips to Pensacola Beach, Florida. Whether surrounded by animals, family, or friends, Sandra found joy in every moment.

Her life was defined by service and kindness. As a caregiver, she gave her heart fully to others, embodying true compassion in everything she did. She was the type of woman who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, not out of obligation, but because generosity was simply who she was. Sandra also loved baking, and her home was often filled with the warmth and sweetness of her creations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Jean Anderson and Richard Osteen Jones Jr., as well as her Papaw, Roy Anderson. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Dan Silvers; her daughter, Michelle Worley, and husband, Mark Worley; her grandchildren, Brittany Brooks and Savanah Worley; her siblings, Patricia Farmer and partner Mike, Richard Jones III and partner Rhonda, and Roy Jones and wife DeLee; her special aunt, Gladys Jones Messer; and her cousin, Tracey Waser and husband Lee. She also leaves behind many beloved bonus children, including Hollis Silvers, and numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Sandra's legacy is one of unconditional love, deep compassion, and joyful simplicity. She leaves behind a family and community forever better because of her presence, and her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service in Maggie Valley, NC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Until then, her family asks that you honor her memory by showing kindness, sharing love, and pausing to notice the small beauties of life, just as she always did.
