Sandra D. Simpson

Sandra D. (Morris) Simpson, age 59, of Milford, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Born in Chichester, PA, on November 26, 1961, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Mary Ellen (King) Morris, Sr. Sandra worked as a CNA for Genesis HealthCare in the Alzheimer's unit. In her spare time, she enjoyed league bowling, shopping, she was a collector and grower of succulents, and enjoyed attending paint nights. Sandra loved taking trips to the beach as well as going glamping with her friends. She also loved Halloween and decorating her home for the holidays. Sandra's most cherished moments were spent at family gatherings, with her friends and pets.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert Simpson, Jr.; children, Danielle R. Wroten (Christopher) of Milford, Beth E. Stombaugh (Brandon) of Milford, and Kelly M. Garand (Zachary) of Seaford; siblings, William L. Morris Jr. (Shelly) of Warwick, MD, Michael Morris (Patricia) of Sassafras, MD, and Deborah Quaciari (Joe) of Bear; and grandchildren, Mason, Penelope, and Colton.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
