Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Renn

Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Renn, age 74, of Middletown, DE, and formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Born in Baltimore, MD on December 16, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Gloria Jean (Schammel) Kerner. Debbie was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Baltimore. She then married the love of her life, Tony who she shared 36 wonderful years with. Together, they raised a beautiful daughter. Debbie made her career as a dietician for Christiana Care.

Debbie enjoyed visiting the beach and playing cards with her family and friends. She could often be found in her kitchen baking a delicious treat for her loved ones. Debbie always looked forward to baking Christmas cookies every year. She loved spending quality time with her family, especially with her grandsons and great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, DeMonte M. "Tony" Renn. She is survived by her daughter, Renee Workman (Chris); grandchildren, Blake Noonan and Tyler Noonan; sisters, Jessie Scott and Vickie Rychwalski; great-grandson, Josiah Noonan; and several dear friends, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 11 am on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
