Sumter, SC.Sandra Dee Sinner, beloved wife of 45 years to Curtis Leon Sinner, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Sandy was born in Sumter, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert Ashwood Ardis Sr. and the late Janice Annette Leviner. Sandy was a kind soul whose warmth touched everyone she met, she truly never knew a stranger. Her happiest moments were spent at home, surrounded by family, playing Bingo or sharing laughter over board games with her grandchildren. Late nights filled with television and togetherness were her favorite. She had a special fondness for The Price is Right, especially the Plinko game, which always brought a smile to her face. She also loved talking on the phone, especially to her Aunt Dianne Dalzell.
More than anything, Sandy was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, Curtis Sinner, surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters; Courtney Wilson and her husband Wes, and Kacie Sinner, her son; Curtis Sinner Jr. (CJ) and his wife, Nichole, brothers; Ashley Ardis and his wife, Minnie Sue and Russell Ardis and his wife Melissa, sister; Scarlett Layne and her husband Aaron, and her grandchildren; Joel, Gracelyn, Nolan, Mason, Kash, and Berklee; in-laws Thomas Ira Sinner and Mary Inez Sinner; brother/sister in-laws, nieces/nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Eric Sinner, a brother, Larry O'Brian Sinner, nephew, Lane Preast, and stepmother Sandy Ardis.
A visitation will be held at Bullock Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Calvary Church of the Nazarene at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow the services at Calvary Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family at Calvary Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall after the service and at other times at the home of Curtis Sinner.
Officiating the services will be Rev. Sharpe.
Pallbearers: CJ Sinner, Joel Sinner, Terry Sinner, Brandon Sinner, Lee Leviner, and Michael Leviner.
