Sandra Theresa Spooner, 68, of Saucier, MS passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.
She was born in Lumberton, MS and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She loved fishing, sitting on the back porch watching the chickens and drinking coffee. Her favorite pastime was enjoying her children and grandchildren.
Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Spooner; son, Scott Bryant; granddaughter Star-light Delancey, grandsons Braxton Vance and Ronnie Ryan; granddaughter Krystal Cecil; mother, Letha Melvin, father, James Melvin; son-in-law Paul Delancy; brothers Kendall Ray Melvin, Jimmy Page, Tommy Page and Larry Page; sisters, Elizabeth Page and Carolyn Geiger and grandson Joseph Saucier.
She is survived by daughters Theresa Watson, Alice Worthy (David), Sara Vance (Patrick) Cathy Bryant (Daniel Olier); Tamara Ryan (Rocky), Angie Delancey, Candi and Brandi; daughter-in-law Rhonda Bryant; sons, Danny Bryant, Shawn Spooner, Jeffrey Spooner and Buzz Spooner; sisters, Debra Olier, Arlene Evitts, Darlene Evitts; brothers, Alton Page, Cecil Page, David Melvin; grandchildren, Michael (Lily), Constance (Kennedy), Cody, Bryan, Brycen, Madison, Macie, Destiny, Sierra, Fraye, Sandra, Angela, Daniel, Jimmy, Scott, Hunter, James, Madison Ryan, Brittany, Brandon, Aliceson, Anthony, Calvin, Priscilla, James, Melanie, Connie, Allan, Chris, Thomas, Evelyn, Elizabeth, Savannah, Justin, Daisy, Debra, April, Maize, Rory, Kaiya; and great grandchildren, Unity, Lane, Kai, Tinley, Kacey, Skyler, Maelynn, Leo, Malachi, Bentley, Raelynn, and 30 more.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the O’Neal Road location of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport. Interment will be at Wolf River Cemetery in Harrison County, MS.
