Sandra was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on November 11, 1947 to the late Ralph and Erma (Driskell) Wertz.
She graduated in 1965 from Warren Central High School and attended several semesters at IUPUI. She had several jobs including, secretary, school aide, and printing company, but her biggest job was being a mother and housewife.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rod Strong; son, Shane Fleming (Ann); daughter, Shannon Strong; granddaughters, Morgan Wyatt and Bailey Hall; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tim Wertz, Jeff Wertz (Trecia), Ginger Justis; several nieces and nephews.
Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland, Indiana is entrusted with care.
