Sandra Swinney, 86, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Reverend Clydel Chapman will be officiating.
Sandra Swinney was born in Lubbock, Texas, to Benjamin and Nora Williams on November 4, 1938. She attended school at Odessa High School. She married Boyd Swinney on October 14, 1958. Sandra worked as a Loan Officer Secretary for Western National Bank for 18 years.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Willma Dobbs, and Joann Leatherwood; and her brother, Harold Williams.
Sandra is survived by her sister, Jean Lehner; brother, Clifford Williams; her son, Kevin Swinney; her daughter, Deanna Bonnett and husband Greg; grandson, Chris Swinney and wife Kelly; granddaughters, Cherie Saunders and husband Andrew, Britney Snyder and husband Brandon; and 7 great grandchildren, Emma, Bailee, Kensie, Jack, Stratton, Field and Griffin.
