Saddened to learn of Sandy's passing. Mimi, Amy & Cindy I can't even begin to tell you how much your mom meant to me. I know you all know what an amazing mom & grandma she was - know too that as a friend and peer, she gave me strength, was always encouraging and supportive and was the virtue of calm reason. So thankful I was one of her 'projects'!
Loved her so! God Bless you with rich memories of her love for you all. She was a gem.

My deepest sympathy and condolence to Cindy and all the Thomas Family. You are all in my prayers and thought. I am so sorry I am unable to be with you now and the days ahead. But I will be with you in spirit and in friendship. The loss and passing of your Mom is beyond words. Sandra was ever the epitome of kindness, respect, encouragement, gentleness and a deep and prayerful faith. May she now rest in the love of the living God.

I was so sad to hear the news today about Sandy. I worked with Sandy at Steelcase. She was a well-respected colleague. When I would have a tough day or needed support as a single parent, she used to let me sit on her lap (smile) and she would pat my back and then we would just laugh!!! We shared the title Single Mom, and she loved her daughters fiercely! When I told my daughter about Sandy today, she said "isn't she your friend whose daughters would send her flowers on THEIR birthdays?? Indeed, she was loved. What a lovely, caring, funny, serious-note-keeper, know-her-stuff, adored-her-grandkids kind of lady!! She also spoke so highly of her two sons-in-law. I wish I could have one more visit....She was one of a kind! Keep the memories close, and I wish you peace as you mourn the loss of such an amazing woman.

Cindy, Amy, and Mimi, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great lady. Even as an immature college student I could tell how much she loved all you guys. Prayers for strength and comfort in this difficult time.
