SANDRA TODD (née Johnson), age 77, Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Beloved wife of Graeme for 55 years; loving mother of Robert (dearly departed), Suzanne Rego, Simon, and Michael (Maria); dearest grandmother of Mya, Fallon, Vitoria, Giovanna, Rocco, Harlow, Anthony, Giuliana, Cameryn, and Mila; daughter of the late Wilfred and Brenda Johnson; sister of Warwick Johnson, Gail Cader (Rasheed), Maxine DeHoedt, Jeremy Johnson, and Sharon Marshall (Ken); loving aunt and great-aunt of many around the world.

Sandra was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she spent her early years surrounded by the vibrant culture and warmth of her homeland. After moving to the United Kingdom, she met the love of her life, Graeme.

A proud retired hospital nurse, Sandra dedicated her professional life to caring for others with compassion and skill. Her deepest joy, however, came from her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories, and showering them with unconditional love. She was the glue that held the family together, binding generations with her warmth, wisdom, and selflessness.

Her faith one of Jehovah’s Witnesses meant everything to her. Sandra loved sharing the good news with others, always eager to offer encouragement, hope, and kindness.

In the kitchen, Sandra’s talents shone brightly: she made the best Sri Lankan rice and curry, a dish so beloved that family members requested it for every special occasion and gathering. She was also known for sharing her infamous homemade banana & zucchini breads.

Sandra’s legacy of love, faith, selflessness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be announced.
