SAID A. IBRAHIM

Said A. Ibrahim, age 76, of Rocky River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Said was born in Syria on December 10, 1949, and immigrated to the United States at 16 years old, with his sisters, Mona and Seham, settling in Lakewood. With an innate sense of duty to care and provide for his family, Said immediately went to work, quickly finding his long career with Ford where he worked at the Cleveland Casting Plant until his retirement in 2008.

In 1982, Said met the love of his life, Marwa “Masha”, and his loving and doting nature found its most meaningful outlet. Said and Masha raised two sons, Paul and Mark. Said derived satisfaction from the happiness and success of his loved ones; he pushed everyone in the family to be the best version of themselves.

He was a true lover of animals, nature, music, technology and, above all, family - especially the time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife, Masha, his sons Paul and Mark, his daughter (in law) Mallorie, and his grandchildren, Amelia, Daphne, and William as well as many dearly beloved nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maron Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10 a.m. Please meet at church. Final Resting Place Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) FRIDAY, February 20, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. Prayers of Incense at 4 p.m.
