Sandra Traylor, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on November 29, 2024. She was a woman whose heart was as big as her laughter, and her spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her. A kind soul with an infectious laugh, Sandra's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and genuine love for children. As the backbone of her family, she was the glue that held them together, always ready to offer support, encouragement, and a helping hand. Her positivity and joyful spirit never wavered, and she remained in great spirits up until the very end.
Sandra was a proud member of St. James Baptist Church, where she found strength and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John L. Traylor, and her lifelong partner, Rickey Lumsey. Also waiting to welcome her in heaven are her brother, Donnie Traylor, two nephews, Johnathan Traylor and Antonio Bridges, and her niece, Ermeshale Finley.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, including her daughter, Cassandra Lumsey, three brothers-John (Dolly) Traylor, Sammie Traylor, and Lonnie (Latoya) Traylor of El Dorado, Ar -and six sisters, Veneater (Chester) Taylor, Frances Robinson, Anner (Willie) Jackson, Mary Grissom, Connie (Flint) Fisher of Eldorado, and Pauline (Charlie) Jones of Morrilton, Ar. Sandra also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and laughter.
Sandra's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
