Sandra Underhill Obituary
Sandra K. Underhill, a beloved resident of Tamarac, Florida peacefully departed this earthly life on December 21st, 2023 at the age of 75. Born in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Kosher. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Daniel Underhill.
Sandy was a cherished member of the Red Hat Society. She was known for her kind heart and unwavering devotion to
the Everglades Angels Dog Rescue (EADR) where she volunteered. She loved her rescue cats Lucy and Caliloke.
Before her move to Florida, Sandy resided in Milford, CT where she was an auxiliary member of Vietnam Veterans 251 and East Coast Vans LTD. She attended the University of Bridgeport and the University of New Haven. Sandy was a Senior Staff Accountant at Meals on Wheels of South Florida and worked at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. She also worked at the Florida Panthers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 19th at 12 pm at Meals on Wheels of South Florida, 451 North State Rd. 7 (441), Plantation, Florida.
Donations in Sandy's memory to the EADR would be sincerely appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of all County Funeral Home.
