Sandra Nicole (Sackey) Watson, 51, of Manchester, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, after a period of failing health. She was born on February 13, 1971, in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Dennis L. Sackey and Ina E. (Petersen) Sackey.
Sandra was raised in Bronx, NY. She moved to Arizona where she worked as a telemarketer and Licensed Nursing Assistant for a number of years until her health started failing, then she moved to Manchester to be closer to her family. In her spare time, she loved listening to Reggae music and partying with family and friends. Sandra enjoyed watching the Food Network, action movies and YouTube bloggers. She enjoyed playing bingo at the local community center.
Sandra also enjoyed cooking meals with her loved ones and always planned family night; it gave her pleasure. Most importantly, Sandra cherished time spent with her beloved family, especially with her granddaughter.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Felicia Watson and Alexis Roberts; granddaughter, Zariyah Townsend; siblings, Carolyn Sackey-Scott, Jacklyn Rush, Evelyn Furgusion, Irene Sackey and Cecilia Sackey; many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members; Alexis’s father, Denton Keith Roberts; and Felicia’s father, Solomon Cornelius Watson.
In addition to her parents Ina Sackey and Dennis Sackey, Sandra was predeceased by her siblings, Ecedro Lindquist, Gilda Isaac and Debra Strickland; and her nephew, Doniel Sackey.
SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held on, Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 4:00-5:00PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00PM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
