Sandra Sue "Sandy" Weaver, age 73, of Fairborn, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2024. Sandra was born in Cadiz, Ohio, on September 5, 1951, the daughter of the late Robert and Audrey Weaver.
She is survived by her aunts and uncles; her church family at Grace Baptist Church; and dear friends Nan Jones, Mike & Doris Jones.
Sandy was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 50 years. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, playing cards, playing the Wii and word search puzzles. Sandy 's favorite character was Clifford The Big Red Dog and she collected anything Clifford related. She had a very giving nature and all of her friends/staff of the nursing home received crocheted gifts from her. Her faith was something she held very dear and she would share the Gospel with those she would encounter throughout her life.
Sandy's home for the last 19 years was Wright Nursing Home and the care given to her was exceptional! She considered those there to be her family. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to those who gave her loving care throughout her time there, especially the last few days.
Visitation will be held from 1:30pm-2:00pm, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church, 2920 Beaver Valley Rd., Fairborn, where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm, with Rev. Mark Pyles officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
