On September 11, 2023, Sandra Williams, 77, of Como, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home with her beloved husband Lynn Williams at her bedside. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Rev. CJ Duffey officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Sandra was born July 17, 1946 to Arlis and Jessie Christine (King) Flanagan in Commerce, Texas. She married Lynn Williams on July 19, 1965 in Sulphur Springs Texas. Sandra was blessed to be a homemaker while her children were younger. With her children raised she began using her gift as a caretaker, working with Jordan’s Health Services taking care of many precious elderly souls. Her desire to continue caring for people inspired her to open her home as a daycare. All the children who entered her home knew and loved her as “memaw”.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Lynn Williams; Her son Michael Williams and wife Ashley; her daughter, Christy Stephenson and husband Jon; her grandchildren, Ashten Boatman and husband Jacob, Michaela Brundage and husband Dustin, Elijah Williams, Ashton Jeffcoat, Carson Jeffcoat, Cash Williams and Ranie Stephenson ; her great grandchildren, Emma Boatman, Aubrey Boatman and Lynnlee Brundage; her special niece Misty Simmons and special nephew Steven Adair ; her brother, Cecil Flanagan.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Payne and brother, John D. Flanagan.
In lieu of flower donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House in memory of Micah Reed or the Star Nuckolls Memorial All-Greek Endowment.
