Sandra Fay Wright, 76, of La Porte, IN, passed away on January 13, 2025 at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.
Sandra was born on June 10, 1948 in Ponchatoula, LA, to Algie and Florrie "Flo" (Jarrell) Ennis.
On September 16, 1972 in Michigan City, IN, she married James "Jim" Wright who survives. Also surviving are her son, Joshua (Valerie) Wright of Rogersville, TN; granddaughter, Alyssa Wright of FL; grandson, Adam Wright of The Villages, FL; great-grandson, Elijah Rosario of FL; siblings, Elaine (Roy) Horn of La Porte, Elizabeth Drewes of La Porte, and Edward (Kaye) Ennis of La Porte; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Bill Drewes; and mother-in-law, Louise Cox.
Sandra was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and spoiling her grandchildren, who were dearly loved by Sandra.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Heckman Memorial Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
