Sandy Jane Bosma (Farmer) ObituarySandra Jane Bosma, 66, of Minnetrista, MN, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2025. Sandy was born on May 6th, 1959 to Gordy & Donna Farmer. Sandy grew up in Bloomington with her four siblings, later moving to the shores of Lake Minnetonka, where she graduated from Mound Westonka High School. Mound became the town in which she would raise her family.
A devoted mother, loving wife, and cherished friend, she touched the lives of many with her genuine kindness, selflessness, vibrant love for life, and contagious smile. Sandy was passionate about her faith, family & friends. Her circle was large, but she made everyone feel like they were the only person in the room.
She spent her 45-year career at Northwest/Delta Airlines, traveling the world while blessing everyone on her path and creating lasting memories with her flight attendant friends. Her strong work ethic and determination culminated in her promotion to Purser, a title she was very proud of and executed with such grace. She loved sharing her travel journeys, often speaking of the tulip fields of Amsterdam and the beautiful palm trees and ocean of Hawaii.
To know her was to love her. She radiated beauty, sunshine, strength, and unconditional love to everyone she encountered. To say she will be deeply missed is an understatement, but we know she's in the arms of Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Farmer, now reunited as our beautiful angels in heaven.

Children: Julie Peterson (Anthony), Josh Doherty (Dyana), and Kendra Doherty (Adam)
Grandchildren: Blake Peterson (Cass), Konnor Peterson (Hailey), and Brooks Doherty
Siblings: Daralinn Williams, Doug Farmer (Carol), Susan Carlson (Dave), Julie Meyer (John)

A Traditional Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Friday, June 20th at 2:00pm, at Bethel Church, 2116 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 pm and a luncheon following at 3:00pm. A wake will be held on Thursday, June 19th at Huber Funeral Homes; 1801 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364 from 5:00-8:00pm.
