She graduated from Johnson City High School in 1978. Sandy then attended North Florida Community College in 2000 where she obtained her AA in Accounting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Chloe Zemek; and her sister, Becky Jo Rowe.
She is survived by her children, Courtney Hill-Padgett (Christopher) of Gainesville FL and Erik Pullin (Kaytie) of Perry FL; her grandchildren, Maydin, Mikayla, Rhett, Malani Kai, and Donovan; her great grandchild, Paisley; her brother, Kerry Zemek of Binghamton, NY; her nephews, Jonathan Zemek of Waco, TX and David Zemek of Austin TX; a host of cousins; her honorary nephews and niece, Dillon, Canyon, Addie and Liam; special friend/sister, Ginny Cruce (Kent); as well as the whole Cruce Clan.
Sandy was a devoted member of Evangel Christian Fellowship and loved being apart of the Women's Connect Group. She enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and being outdoors, as well as cooking and baking for others. She had a niche for cleaning and organizing like no other. She could always find a treasure you never knew you needed from a yard sale. She would lend a helping hand anytime no matter what it entailed. She ADORED her grandkids, especially raising grandson Rhett.
A special thank you to Holly, Ginny, and Amy for caring for Mom in her final days with all the love and care, As well as the care from Big Bend Hospice.
A Celebration of Life for Sandy will be held at the Evangel Christian Fellowship on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11AM with Pastor Justin Webb officiating.
All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
