Sanjuana Uribe Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

SALMOS 27:10

Sanjuana Baez Uribe, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend, was born in Rancho San Felipe, Dr. Coss, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on August 6, 1950, and entered the presence of the Lord on the evening of November 22, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Her life was a beautiful
testament of faith, selflessness, and unconditional love.

Around the age of 28, Sanjuana's life was profoundly impacted by the faith of her mother in law, Ma Luisa Acuña. With the passing of her mother in law, God used this Bible verse to comfort Sanjuana's heart:

"My father and mother may abandon me, but the Lord will take care of me." (PSALM 27:10)

It was then that she took the most important step in her life and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. After that, her life was radically transformed, devoting her life to sharing the gospel to all who surrounded her. Her faith was not only reflected through the words she spoke
but also through the life she lived, allowing her faith to guide her steps, her home, and her service to others.

In 2008, alongside her beloved husband, she helped form the ministry "Iglesia Cristiana Herederos Del Reino," where she faithfully served and lived out her calling with humility and joy.

Sanjuana had a gift for caring for others in the simplest yet most profound ways. She was an amazing cook, a passionate singer and a dedicated homemaker whose warmth filled every room she entered. She was known for her loving nature, her enduring kindness, and her marvelous capability to forgive. To all who knew her, she was a living example of abundant grace and unending compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesús María Uribe Longoria and Corina Cantú Quintanilla.

Sanjuana leaves behind her devoted husband of fifty-three inseparable years, Francisco Benjamín Báez, who was truly the love of her life and partner in all things. She is also survived by her children Yessenia Balan (husband Isai Ezequias Balan), Francisco Báez Jr. (wife Jael Lynn), and Samuel Báez (wife Bianca María); her loving grandchildren Francisco Benjamin Báez III, David Alejandro Báez, Sofia Graciela Báez, Eleyna Elia Báez and Samuel Elijah Báez Jr. and her cherished siblings Jesús Uribe, Hilda Gloria Marín, Erasmo Uribe, José Alonzo Uribe, José
Ramiro Uribe, Corina Uribe, Sylvia Uribe, and Arnoldo Uribe.

Sanjuana's legacy of kindness, faith, and devotion to God will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Though she is no longer physically with us, we know that she is more alive than ever in the presence of the Lord. One day we will see her again but in the
meantime we will keep her in our hearts and remember the love she gave so freely.
