It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Santiago Barrios Jr., who left us peacefully in his sleep on November 21st, 2025. He was 71 years old.
Born in New York City on January 3rd, 1954, to the late Santiago Barrios Sr., and the late Olga Barrios Marrero. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Barrios; his loving daughter, Nicole Barrios, and granddaughter, Emma Barrios-Miller; his loving son, Jason Barrios; his sister, Lucy Barrios; his sister-in-law, Sharon Richter; his brother-in-law, Stew Richter; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Santiago was a man defined by his quiet strength, consistency, and integrity. He provided a stable structure for our family, teaching us the value of hard work and commitment.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted knowing he passed calmly and in peace. His memory will continue to strengthen us.
A small celebration of life will be held on Jan 10th, 2026 at 9801 Southampton Commons Drive, Charlotte, NC 28277. More details to follow.
