With deep love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Santina Macari, who passed away peacefully, leaving behind a rich legacy rooted in love, culture, and tradition.
Born in the beautiful town of Castelnuovo Parano, Frosinone, Italy, Santina grew up surrounded by the values of family, faith, and hard work. Together with her late husband, Cesare Macari, she made the courageous journey to the United States in pursuit of a brighter future. With five children in tow, they embarked on a new chapter-one that would blossom into generations of love and fulfillment.
Santina's life was defined by strength, grace, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where aromas of her cooking brought comfort, and the long table welcomed everyone with warmth. It was around that table that stories were shared, traditions were passed on, and memories were made-each dish a symbol of her love.
She is survived by her five devoted children: Pasqualina Alosco, and her husband Anthony, Paola Lavelle, and her husband Edward, Celestino Macari, and his wife Cathy,
Mauro Macari, and his wife Sharon, Gabriele Macari, and his wife AnnaMarie.
Santina's pride and joy were her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward a piece of her spirit, her warmth, and the recipes she lovingly passed down.
Her legacy is one of resilience, tradition, and unconditional love. She taught us the value of family, the importance of gathering, and the beauty of a life lived with purpose and generosity.
Santina will be missed beyond words, but her light lives on in every Sunday dinner, every story told, and every lesson passed down.
