Santos Garcia Donez Jr.

Santos Garcia Donez, Jr, 36, of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born on May 18, 1986, in Phoenix, Arizona to Santos Donez, Sr. and Isabel Garcia. He loved to work; he was a cook in different restaurants in the area. Santos enjoyed the outdoors, camping, he liked to be called the "Catfish King", fishing was his all-time favorite. he also enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins and Texas Tech football and basketball. He played bingo and enjoyed gambling; he will be missed by all that knew him..
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angelica Zavala; children, Nariah Donez, Santos Josiah Donez, III, Alyiah Donez, and Javin Donez; mother, Isabel Garcia; stepmother, Gladys Donez; siblings, Adrian Donez, Robert Garcia, Irene Pena, Ernest Garcia, Bella Moreno, Elizabeth Reyes, Christi Leon, Steven Donez, Matthew Donez, and Brooke Donez; and several extended family and friends.
Santos was preceded in death by his father, Santos Donez, Sr. and cousin, Isaac Rios, III.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., visitation will continue, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, and funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
