Sara Joyce Cauthen, 67 of White Bluff, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was born on August 13, 1955, to the late James Cordell and Regina Pentecost Stephens. Sara worked at Auto Owners Insurance Company for about 40 years. She was a faithful member of Harpeth Baptist Church for 47 years. She enjoyed going on vacation and traveling, especially to the mountains. Sara liked going to country music concerts. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing games on her computer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Dottie.
Sara leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Randy Cauthen; son, Justin Ryan Cauthen; and siblings, Kathy Binkley, Jimmy Stephens, Faye Cranfield, and Doug Stephens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM in the chapel officiated by Chance Strickland and Scotty Marcum. Following the service, Sara will be laid to rest in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
