Sara Christine Bastian Emery

Sara Bastian Emery of Colorado Springs, Colorado, returned home on September 24, 2013. Sara was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was an outstanding athlete and student achieving Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University. Sara was a Realtor in Colorado Springs and was beloved by her colleagues. Sara was a beloved wife, and friend to many people. Her friends say she was able to light up a room with her smile, and would never say Hi to you without a hug. Her passion was to live a Christ-Centered life and loved the company of family and friends. With her work here done early, Sara was called home. She will be sorrowfully missed by those who knew her. Sara is survived by her husband Chris Emery; mother and father Harry and Twila Bastian; and brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Chelsea Bastian.
