Sara Lape Obituary

Born on July 29, 1928, in Little Falls, she was the daughter of Walter and Helen Jane (Trumbull) Harwick.
She attended business school, where she earned an associate's degree.
Sara was predeceased by her husband, Harvey A. Lape, whom she married in March of 1947.
She was employed with General Electric as an Administrative Assistant until her retirement.
Surviving are her son, Harvey Lape and his partner, Kristin Bickhart, and six grandchildren.
Sara was predeceased by her son, Daniel Lape, in 2015 and daughter, Audrey Althoff, in 2025.
Inurnment will be in Sauquoit Valley Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.

I´m so sorry for the loss of Sara. She was a second mom to all of us that were friends of Danny and Audrey. She was the sweetest, kindest and loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone that knew her. I had the honor to go visit her 2 years ago with my best friend Audrey, her daughter, as I moved to Florida 18 years ago. May God comfort her remaining family with His love and refill their hearts with His peace. Blessings! Debbie Tartaglia
