Sara Elizabeth Ogle Law, formerly of Pearisburg, Virginia, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, at Highland Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Dublin, Virginia. Born on January 21, 1934, in Wythe County, Virginia, Sara was a beacon of warmth and love throughout her 92 years.
Sara led a life marked by dedication to her family and an unwavering work ethic. She was born to the late Robert and Jessie Guynn Ogle and was the beloved wife of the late Eddie Law. Sara's life was also enriched by her siblings, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond until she was preceded in death by them.
Her legacy lives on through her devoted children: Jeff Scott, Roger Scott and his wife Dot, Chris Scott and his wife Ginger, and daughter Regina Delph and her husband Vernon. Sara was a proud grandmother to Steven Scott, Carrie Beth Rice and her husband Kenny, and Rebecca Scott, who will carry forward her spirit of kindness and resilience.
For many years, Sara was a familiar face at Celanese, where she worked in recycling. Her colleagues knew her as a hardworking and friendly individual. Sara's interests outside of work were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. She was an avid crafter, with crochet hooks often dancing between her fingers, creating intricate patterns and keepsakes for her loved ones. Camping was another of Sara's joys, where she found peace and relaxation in the beauty of nature. Always one for a good bargain and unique finds, she frequented flea markets, delighting in the treasures she would discover.
There are no services for Sara at this time. A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Law family.
