Sara Jane Regester "Sarie", age 96, of Quarryville, PA, and formerly of Aston, PA died on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in the skilled nursing at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Chester, PA, Sara lived in Aston, PA, before moving to Quarryville, PA, 17 years ago.
A graduate of Media High School, Sara was a retired legal secretary. Sara was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Quarryville, PA. She enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, NJ, Ocean City, MD, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. An avid reader of devotional books and novels, she especially enjoyed Amish theme works. She liked taking rides in the country and walking. Sara also enjoyed crafts and Bible studies. She was an amazing prayer warrior.
Wife of the late James Regester and Aunt of the late James Richard Albany, John David Albany and Great-Nephew, David John Trumbull
Survivors:
Niece: Susan Jane (John) Albany Trumbull, Beth Albany and Ardis Albany.
Step-Daughter: Judy Regester Rinker
Step-Granddaughter: Angel Rinker Flesher
Great Nephews: Matthew James (Angelyn) Trumbull, Jay (Miranda) Albany, Christopher Hunter (Jennifer) Albany, Brian (Jennifer) Albany.
Great Niece: Lisa Beth (Tony) Albany Thompson
Also survived by Great Great Nieces and Nephews
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 6th at 11:00AM at Edgewood Memorial Park
