Sara Paulette Stewart, affectionately known as "Potts" and "Naynay," ran into the loving arms of Jesus on November 24, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Born on December 13, 1949, in Memphis, TN, she graced the lives of many with her loving spirit and unwavering faith. As a cherished caregiver, she devoted herself to the children of police officers and teachers in her community, opening her home to nurture and comfort the little ones around her.

Paulette was more than just a caregiver; she was a radiant beacon of kindness. Those fortunate enough to cross her path often remarked on her sweet demeanor and remarkable ability to make strangers feel like family. Her joyful heart found great expression in singing, especially as a member of the choir at Longview Heights Baptist Church, where her beautiful voice soared during worship. It is here where she felt most at home, worshiping the Lord with the same passion she brought to everything in her life.

Family was the cornerstone of Paulette's existence. She never missed a family reunion, creating enduring memories and strengthening the bonds that held her loved ones close. Her pride in her children, son James Stewart (Ashlee) and daughter Julie Stewart, blossomed into immeasurable joy as she watched her grandchildren—Alexus Stewart, Natalee Stewart, Mollee Stewart, and Michael Panigoni—grow and flourish. These connections were her proudest accomplishments, the treasures of her heart.

In her free moments, Paulette would often be found sharing her famous banana pudding recipe that was adored by all, or enjoying country line dancing at the Methodist Church in Collierville, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Her laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind, including her beloved brother, Frank Boling (Linda), and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins who were touched by her grace and affection.

Paulette's parents, James F. and Pauline (Ross) Boling, Sr., predeceased her, but their love and teachings lived on in her faith and her family. Her legacy as a wonderful wife and mother, and her gentle nurturing spirit, will continue to inspire all who knew her.

As we bid farewell to Paulette, we remember not only her unwavering devotion to her family and faith but also the beautiful moments and cherished stories that fill our hearts. She taught us the importance of love, kindness, and the joy of singing praises. May her memory continue to be a guiding light, reminding us all to live with the same sweetness and care she embodied so effortlessly. She will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.

About the organizer:

Hi. I'm Kate and I am helping Julie out with some of the details for Paulette. I was Julie's roomate in college and I loved Paulette, she always treated me and cared for me as one of her own. So helping Julie with what I can is the least I could do during this time.
