Sara Todd Obituary
Sara was born on Nov. 22, 1955, a daughter of the late Bernice Todd and the late Bobbie A. Miller.
Sara will be remembered as a selfless sister and mother who exemplified strength through life's trials. For over forty years, she dedicated herself to her career as a hairstylist. Many also knew her from her bartending and phone duties at Frog's Bar & Grill on Thursday and Friday evenings. She was an active member of both Springdale Baptist Church in Lancaster and Frontline Biker Church in Kershaw.
Sara is survived by her daughter, Stacey Barrett (David); her stepson, Scott Barrett; her brother, Paul Wesley Todd; a sister, Barbara Todd (Naomi Lagasse); her nieces and nephews, "Lil Wesley" Todd, Lee Weed, Jamie Weed, Nicole Todd, Michael Todd, Josh Todd, Brian Steele, Jennifer Myers, and Mandy Myers; and 22 great-nieces and nephews plus one on the way.
She was preceded in death by a son and stepson, Ronnie Dale Barrett, Jr. and Jeff Barrett; her parents, Bernice Todd and Bobbie Miller; her ex-husband, Ronnie Dale Barrett, Sr.; a sister and sister-in-law, Rose Meredith and Karen Craig Todd; and a niece, Becky Steele.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at the home of Ms. Sara, 1945 Springdale Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Ms. Todd will be 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Cotton Pate. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Burgess Funeral Home, C/O Sara Todd, P.O. Box 1743, Lancaster, SC 29721.
