Sara C. Wilkinson

1931 - 2025

Sara C. Wilkinson, 94, of Mars, formerly of Snellville, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, while under the care of Concordia of Cranberry and Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born March 18, 1931, in Lithonia, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Efton Hulsey Cleland and Mary Corley Cleland.
Sara was a faithful member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Ga. Sara enjoyed many hobbies, most notably her love of cooking and travel. She especially loved her time spent at Panama City Beach, Fla., with family and friends.
Sara leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Alan (Jean) Wilkinson, of Mars; her three grandchildren, Wesley (Tanya) Wilkinson, of Chicora, Whitney (Joe) Anderson, of Quakertown, Pa., and Shelby Wilkinson, of Philadelphia; her five great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Brady Wilkinson, and Jackson, Julia and Jacob Anderson; a sister, Linda (Tony) Breedlove; brother, Bobby Cleland; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her husband, W. Lamar Wilkinson; and her sisters, Evelyn Mulkey, Georgia-Ann Moon and Betty Howard.
WILKINSON - A memorial for Sara C. Wilkinson, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, will be planned at a future date in Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
