In Loving Memory of Sarah Lee (Norman) Floyd

With love and gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the memory of Sarah Lee (Norman) Floyd, who was born on January 27, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Katie Mae Sigers, and gracefully transitioned to glory on February 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace.

She proudly and honorably served her country in the United States military and was stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where she met the love of her life, James Floyd. She carried herself with dignity and respect as a veteran, devoted wife, loving mother and stepmother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and loyal friend. Her life reflected resilience, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.

She loved to dress beautifully, treasured her jewelry, and always kept her hair impeccably styled, carrying herself with grace and quiet confidence wherever she went. She also loved the beach, vacations with family, and the companionship of her beloved dogs.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory:

Her daughters, Debbie Wilson and Michelle Adams (Trevor);

Her stepson, Edward Green (Judy);

Her grandchildren, Jasmine Murphy (Jarrod), Deshaun Adams, Devon Austin, Yolanda Green, Michael Green, and Jarrell Wilson (Daria);

Her great-grandchildren, Jayla Wilson-Wells, Josiah Murphy, Journee Murphy, Zavrielle Whyte, Taryn Caleb, Taylor Caleb, and Elijah Wilson;

and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Floyd; her sons, Michael Floyd and Andre Floyd; her son-in-law, Billy Wilson; and her mother, Katie Mae Sigers.

Sarah was also blessed with special friendships and extended family bonds that brought warmth and joy to her life, including her dear friends Melody Geddie, Arnita Jackson, and Dennis Jackson, and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Lewis and Marian Headen.

She now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones gone before her, while her love continues to guide those she leaves behind.
